Lady Gaga's 'Harper's Bazaar' Spread Is A High-Fashion Space Odyssey

After being noticeably absent from our lives thus far in 2014, Lady Gaga has resurfaced on the cover of Harper's Bazaar. While we've missed the multi-outfit days of November, between the spread and interview, there is a ton of fashion in this piece. There's prob enough to tide us over for, like, at least a week.
The spread was shot by Gaga BFF Terry Richardson, and on the cover she rocks a short blonde 'do and no shirt. She's not Miley-level nekkid—she has on a sparkly Saint Laurent jacket. And after staring at this picture for a few minutes, I'm honestly not sure what you could wear under that jacket, so no shirt seems pretty reasonable, IMHO.

Inside the issue, Gaga recreates her ARTPOP cover with a white stereo instead of a Jeff Koons gazing ball. While she is as nude as she is on the album cover, she accessorizes with silver gloves, XL sunglasses, and a silver hat. She could probably pick up radio signals and communicate with space in that metallic headgear, which is perfect, because the majority of the spread is space-themed.

She wears a multicolored Christopher Kane skirt and open-front shirt with a Philip Treacy headpiece that is definitely capable of scanning for extraterrestrial life. In the interview, Gaga discusses her upcoming performance in space (I'll believe it when I see it, TBH), and says she's auctioning off her second seat on the Virgin Galactic flight to raise money for the Born This Way foundation. If she throws in a pair of those iridescent shoes, I'll join her in space.

Gaga looks ready for blastoff in an Atelier Versace jumpsuit, but, unfortunately, I'm pretty sure she can't wear that into space. I'm not an astronaut (believe it or not), but I think you have to wear, like, pressurized orange suits on your way up. Once you're there, though, you can wear all the Versace you want (JK, you still need a pressurized suit). The silver Emilio Pucci jacket she wears seems to bear a closer resemblance to the looks she'll actually be allowed to wear above the stratosphere, though she will likely need pants. It's very cold up there.
